Stephen Green Architecture, Inc. is a Hawaii based architectural firm that specializes in design solutions that are customized to each individual project needs and budget. We bring a wealth of job experience that can successfully address any design challenge. As the architectural profession is changing rapidly in areas such as building materials, integrated building software, smart buildings and sustainability, we continually educate our staff to ensure that we provide the latest tools and knowledge to our clients.

We approach design challenges without preconception allowing for unique solutions for each project. At the onset of any design, we systematically seek references and influences to inform the decision making process which can ultimately lead to a deeper connection between the project and the site, as opposed to the superficial term “sense of place”. We believe that process is as important as the outcome. We look in unexpected areas for inspiration and influence and rigorously espouse cross discipline critique. We love to build study models. Even utilizing software such as Autocad, 3d Studio Max, Rhino, Sketchup and Revit, there is no substitute. . .

Client service an unwavering professionalism is absolutely at the core of our practice. A thorough analysis of client's needs versus client budget to provides the appropriate balance. We provide flexible services that adapt to each client's specific needs, from simple project consulting to complete construction administration. Client education of the building process; building a home in Hawaii or Belize is dramatically different than building elsewhere. We strive to be in constant communication and provide timely feedback. Deadlines are understood to be deadlines. . . Whether you are seeking LEED certification or merely want your project to be as sustainable as is feasible, we approach architecture with the “best practices of sustainability”, not only in Hawaiian architecture, but in all our work. Quality control reviews with all consultants and clients at all major project milestones.
